Pandora's Poetry Lair
What are you afraid of
a friend I'll truly be
I'll fly you on the wings of words
set your spirits free

offer you the master
let you know his will
hunt within the shadows
visualize the kill

there's no fear for you to know
truly can't you see
I am here to be your friend
give you liberty

No longer will you hunger
for dreams you can't acquire
your companion is Pandora
lover of vampyre

Nosferatu

His presence
steals within a shadowed mist
awakening yearnings
thirsty needs

taunting touches
igniting fires
inside the body
on which he feeds

softly choosing
words of portrayal
concerning a life
shamefully free

pure temptation
singular desires
not a fleeting want
but a guarantee

accepted acceptance
stays evolution
instills wild emotions
eventful nights

peaceful abandonment
clothed in the darkness
showing mocking defiance
for those of light

offering kisses
traded gifts
flowing through the vein
sampling of the soul

embrace freely
a brotherhood seldom offered
enter willingly
melt among the fold

Night Traveler

Last night
I rode a river
wild currents deep and green
strangest outing of my life
or was it just a dream

I danced
upon its mighty flow
tumbled in the breeze
it splashed down to my very soul
made my troubles freeze

it carried
me along a path
of mystery by tide
torrents sang of endless peace
along my thrilling ride

he came
across the water
drifting wild and free
then atop this sweeping carpet
he embraced me tenderly

a kiss
was placed within my next
and in my dreamlike state
I felt my heart would burst in joy
being chosen for his mate

as morning
lit I did arise
heart racing in me still
droplets sliding down my brow
fantasy or real

Refusal

Arrival
was by door or window
confusion as to how
stroke
disturb my nightly slumber
cold touch upon my brow

ebony
shade on wallpaper blue
eyes alive with hungry glare
ruby
lips, teeth of white
fingers long with hair

unspoken
words as silence reign
yet understanding did emerge
hands
outstretched imploring
my prayer repelled the urge

melting
away in misted shadows
beyond the night cracked windowpane
he
whisperinng softly of dawning rays
curse crosses protecting victims veins
